GCD 2026 Calendar of Events

 August 2026

 The Garden Club of DeLand will be holding a Governing Board meeting on Thursday, August 13th at 10:30am at the Garden Club. 

 Garden Club Clean Up Day before our Pollinator Palooza for families on August 22, 2026.  We have scheduled a clean up day for Monday, August 17th to begin at 7:30AM.  Most of the areas are in need of weeding.  I will try to have some mulch delivered for use in the beds at the same time.  Please start notifying members of your circles and getting some volunteers to help with this.   

Tuesday, August  11th and 25th, Let’s beat the heat and start at 7:30am, Sensory Butterfly Garden Workday at Bill Dreggors Park (230 N. Stone St.) we will be doing a lot of weeding, please bring your own water to stay well-hydrated. This is a Garden Club of DeLand event and all members are welcomed.
